When people think of London their immediate concern is the cost. Indeed London is a expensive city to be in for locals and visitors alike. But it doesn’t need to be so. Going out in London can be completely free and not cost a single cent out of your pocket. There are plenty of free attractions in London. It’s just a matter of finding them.

There are a few obvious choices when you think of free attractions in London. One of those options are the art galleries.  Some of the most amazing galleries can be found in London. Among them are the Tate Modern and Tate Britain galleries. They are exceptional national art galleries housing some of the finest artworks in the world. Contemporary are is the focus of the Tate Modern while Tate Britain displays British Art through the ages upto the present day. Other galleries you can focus on include the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. Many of the major art galleries and museums stay open late.
