City University of London is a British University in London with over a century’s experience in research. It was initially called the Northampton Institute after the Marquess of Northampton. Its main aim was to provide education and welfare for the local population.
It was later given University status and in 1909 the first graduates qualified as Bsc graduates in Engineering as internal students. Since then it has focused energy into aeronautics and developed its Engineering and Mathematical Sciences.
Courses range from certificates, diploma’s under and post graduate courses, that are mainly tailored in a vocational manner.
